The issue with pornography… Is there an issue to start with? Is there a trouble? I’m sure that most of you have seen porn at one point or another (or still do), and I’m sure you’ve noticed how much it has changed over the years. The “ladies” nowadays are super fit, with huge tits, tans, the occasional piercing or tattoo, zero pubic hair, always willing and always accepting. Reality is different.
Reality shows that women have bad hair days, that they have all kinds of sizes of breasts, that they don’t necessarily enjoy some things portrayed in "movies". The trouble lies in the fact that pornography is compulsive. Why is it? Because it’s guaranteed. You spank the monkey and there you go. Immediate satisfaction guaranteed. But here’s where it gets sticky (no imagery intended here)… It becomes trickier when you associate your orgasm with the cyber-babes. They become to you THE way to relieve yourself, to orgasm, because you know that it is guaranteed. And so, you associate, inevitably, sex with cyberbabes. And let’s face it, orgasming is a wonderful feeling.
But when you, the guy, are faced with a real woman, what do you do? You don’t know what to do with her body, her scent, her curves, her skin. You don’t have that over the web. You don’t kiss, you don’t touch, and… you’re not touched yourself. So if pornography is your only reference, how will you behave with the flesh and blood in front of you? How about her? Do you think you can apply the things what you’ve seen to her? Can you even be turned on by a regular woman? Does your libido still kick in?
I see this new wave of pornography, especially for the younger guys with no experience as a very bad thing. Their expectations and view of sex will undeniably be altered. And it’s the woman who will have to manage that situation.
Now, when a woman is faced with a man who does not know what he’s doing… the only thing she can do is to guide him through the process. Hopefully the guy’s learning curve is not bad and he’ll get his act together sooner rather than later. BUT, what if the woman has no idea what to do? What are her references? Porn? Good Lord. That would really be bad. So what is a woman to do? Seek an experienced man? Does she herself have references? If not, why not?

It would be interesting to do some research on the effect of porn on Tunisian's sexuality ( as it is an emerging phenomena) and to analyze its relationship with the islamic beliefs and culture.
I also think that porn is an amazing sexual educational tool.It teaches a lot to those who do not know anything. It can even blossom the sexuality of some couples.

Actually, not all porn is educative and there is a very fine line between a "bad" and a "good" porn. I personally was amazed when I heard that you can actually take a human sexuality class in college and I took 2 of them... So I think in Tunis we should teach sexuality to youngsters, and by sexuality I mean sexuality not just the biology part of it. We should teach our youth how to please them selves and their partners safely, how to differ between bad and good porn, how to give and get pleasure, how to deal with partners who go beyond the normal sexual behavior etc... That would be one of the first things we should de to have a healthy society...

We have one of the most conservative societies. Isn’t still illegal to buy any porn magazines or videos? You had to go into some filthy shop that'd suck the shoes off your feet to get one (not that I've been to any :-P). So, it’s not easy to convince parents for sexuality courses at school. Now that the Internet is here, even with the ban we are through, almost every one is an accomplished masturbator who puts in 10 hours a day slumped over a screen!
Anyway, this kind of entertainments is clearly addressed to well-informed adults over 21 and not for teenagers who are still learning. We can’t blame the producers for that our kids (or our men, as you seem to say jojo) are sexually unhealthy because when buying that video or connecting to that website, they must be expecting what they’ll get there.. hun?
La pronographie est, selon moi, du voyeurisme, supposé procurer chez celui qui regarde la vidéo, de l'excitation et ampliphier sa libido. Et si cette personne est entrain de se masturber, les images et les sons l'aident à s'immerser dans un monde ou il se sent moins seul. Et plus la vidéo ressemble aux fantasmes de la personne, plus l'excitation est grande. d'ou les différentes variétés de porno pour satisfaire tous les goûts : Hétéro, lesbiennes, gay, black, asiatique, jeunes ou moins jeunes, etc... Mais il est vrai que le shéma le plus répandu c'est des femmes et des hommes avec des mensurations de rêves qui se rencontrent dans des décors de rêves et se font l'amour mécaniquement sans rien prononçer à part des gémissements :) Eh ! oui, les stars du porno, malheureusement, jojo, sont celles qui répondent à un idéal féminin quasi inexistant dans la réalité (d'ailaurs elles se font presque toutes opérer). Pourquoi le porno est il ainsi ? Est ce que les producteurs de ce genre de vidéos se sont fiés à des sondages ? ou ils suivent eux aussi, comme le cinéma, la télé (il ne faut pas l'oublier) le courant de la beauté plastique régie par des modéles bien particuliers. Les personnes qui font du porno font du chiffre avec. Et le porno évoluera selon les lois du marché. Si tu penses, jojo, que le porno pourrait être utilisé dans un but initiateur et pédagogique, il faudrait peut être qu'il y ait du porno indépendant qui proposerait des vidéo avec des personnes qui n'ont pas connu de chirurgiens et qui joueraient des scénes plus proches de la réalité. Ce qui donnerait aux disciples une idée moins biaisée. le kama-sutra version vidéo, pourquoi pas ? :) Aussi, un commentaire a évoqué la notion d'age minimum auquel est destiné le prono. comment éduquer avec le porno sachant qu'il est prohibé aux mineurs ? Honnêtement, je pense qu'il est difficile d'utiliser le porno autrement que comme cité au début de mon commentaire. vive les femmes avec des formes et non les pouprées refaites au bistouri et vive le romantisme érotique et non la misérable sexualité pornographique...
